TELEFILE Service Now Available for 2007 Returns

Individual taxpayers can now telefile their 2007 tax returns. The TELEFILE hours of service are from 7 a.m. to midnight (Eastern Time), and TELEFILE will be available until September 30, 2008.

TELEFILE is intended for use by taxpayers whose tax situation is relatively straightforward, and such taxpayers will generally have received a four-digit TELEFILE access code with their 2007 tax package. Taxpayers who believe that they may be eligible to use TELEFILE but who did not receive an access code may obtain one by calling the CRA's e-services help line at 1-800-714-7257.
